From Betty Bonicioli:
I will be thinking of all of you having a great time being together and sharing years of dreams and tears.
I wish we could have been there but I still work and I'm the only one in the Media Center.

Hope some photos will be on the computer to share with us.

Have fun and God Bless!

From Jerry Schmitt:
Hello to all !

It is with deep regret that I will not be able to attend the Sachem reunion due to family health problems and that I have just returned from driving to and from California for the same reason. I hope that everything goes well and say Hi to everyone. It was enjoyable ,though time consuming, searching for classmates the past few years. If anyone should remember me it would be nice to hear from them. Ben , it was great communicating with you and hope we may someday meet.

Comment from Ben:
I can't imagine Tom and Meg living in the Hamptons and not getting any word about our Blog or Reunion. Their photo is in our Blog!

From Jerry Brandt:

Marylin Giove Chion:
I was wondering if anyone has heard from Janice Beatty, Bruce Loesch, Lyn Lawrence, Kathy McLaughlin or Lucy Carrillo.

Message from Barbara Deppe Schwinn:

Hi gang,

I hope you all have a wonderful time; it has been so long that you all have been together. We are very blessed now that we can email each other and keep in contact. Who would have thought about that in 1959. 50 years later and the world has change so much.

Take care

Barbara Deppe Schwinn.

Comment from Ben Vitale:
Barbara
Do you remember the Dick Tracy cartoon series in the NY Daily News? In that cartoon series the editor flaunted his "Crime Stoppers Textbook."

The editor often published something called the "Dick Tracy Wrist Radio;" which was non-existant at that time! The concept fascinated me! A Wrist Radio! Wow!

My wife, Cell Phone in hand, openly proclaims her love for the "Good Old Days;" I love the new technology; Email, Text Messaging, Online Banking, Instant Alerts, Internet, and Blogs (some still choose to call it a Rare Tropical Disease)." Ha! Ha! Great Fun!

Gotta Go! Must look up something for my Wife on Google! See what I mean!!!!!!!!

From Gail Tierney Griffith:
The plans for the reunion do sound wonderful. I do wish I could be there.
We've been here in the Asheville, NC, area for thirteen years now. My husband Hoyt, my mother and I live together with three dogs and four cats. I'm involved in the fiber community, dabbling in weaving, spinning, hooking, quilting, knitting, and various other fiber crafts. Buddy LeVay referred to me as Betty Croaker in our yearbook! In some ways, the title fits.
Since we'll be 70 in 2011, I plan to celebrate with Gail Johnsen Holland at her home in England. We've been sharing birthday wishes since we first met in 1956!
At the end of each school year, I would watch my students board the buses for the last time. For me they are forever seventeen. That's how I remember all of you. Forever young. Forever filled with enthusiasm. Bright eyed, looking toward a shiney future.

From George Lacarte:

Some things have just changed in Our Lives and we are trying to adjust with them. I recently retired from working at Kennedy Space Center, and seeing the world in a different light. We are making adjustments to our life styles and will have to cut back on most things for awhile.
Therefore Jill and I will not be attending this wonderful 50 th. class reunion. I wish everyone travel mercies there and back home. I hope after all these years, you all enjoy these days together. So many stories and pictures will be taken. I hope to see them on the postings you put out after wards. Ben, you have worked very hard to keep all of us together, Thank you for your hard work in putting it all together, to see and read these wonderful thought and photos these last few years.
I am starting to miss You Guys already, just by writing this.
To all the "FLAMING ARROWS" Fly high and bright, and may you all hit the Target in Your Life.
George

Message From Deanna Giardina Mauch:

Hello to all the graduates from Class of '59 to '65. I really wanted to attend the wonderfully-planned events for our Sachem group, however, my husband's 50th from Center Moriches High School is also being held October 1st through 3rd this year. So just to let you know that Deanna Giardina Mauch, Class of 1963, will be on Long Island and having dinner for the C.M. H.S. "Icebreaker" with my husband Bob on Friday, October 1st, at 7 PM at The Moriches Steak House, Main Street, Center Moriches. On Saturday, October 2nd, he and I will be at the Senix Creek Inn Restaurant at Senix Marina at 6 PM.

By the way, those were great pics at the Pine Grove Inn. That was always a favorite of ours. Wish I could hear you musicians!

I'll miss all of you in September. Have a fantastic time at our Sachem Reunion.
Best Wishes,
Deanna
