Members of the Sachem High School Alumni Group:
We have 130, members in our "Sachem High School Alumni Gazette," group. This Blog is like a newspaper; generally "read only." It is not conducive to carrying on a conversation!
35 of our members also belong to our "Sachem Alumni 1959 - 1965," Facebook group. Facebook is a read and talk site. So... 35 Sachem Alumni, our classmates, talk to each other daily; just as we did in high school. It is so wonderful to talk to old friends! I actually talk to my classmates more now than I ever did when I went to Sachem! You guessed it... We became friends 50 years after graduation! This is wonderful!
Norman Neill, Sachem class of 1959 just joined our Facebook group; the Facebook Group members are ecstatic to be able to talk to Norman just as we did in high school!
So... Don't be afraid of Facebook!
