I am not sure who would omit to knowing what street ran along side of the R.R. Tracks in Lake Ronkonkoma, and of course no one ever "Dragged Raced" down that street. The reason being was that there were hardly any cross streets, But what do I know?

Come on, there were a few of you that knew this! "I bet the Suffolk Saints knew it."

Two young men somehow managed to set up a Web Cam outside of Santa's barn. Most of the Reindeer are inside the barn but a few are walking around outside. Santa can be seen occasionally feeding his Reindeer! I haven't seen them "fly" yet!

Sachem Class of 62 Reunion Information:

January 30, 2012


Dear Sachem Class Of ‘62 Alumni,


2012 will be a milestone year for our class. It will mark 50 years since we graduated from Sachem High School. The Sachem Class of 62 Reunion Committee respectfully invites and requests your presence for the celebration of this landmark event.


We are using all the latest techniques for locating all of our class, but there are still some of our alumni we have not been able to find. A list of these names is included. Any help in locating these classmates will be greatly appreciated.


Our plan is for a three day event starting with a pizza get-together on Friday, September 14th, 2012, at Bruno’s, in Lake Ronkonkoma, from 6:00PM to 10:00PM. This event will include all the pizza you can eat, plus beer, wine, and soda. On Saturday, September 15th, there will be a banquet at Captain Bills, in Bay Shore from 7:00PM to 11:00PM. The banquet will include your meal, beer wine, soda and a band and photographer. The events will culminate on Sunday, September 16th, 2012 with a paddle wheel cruise and luncheon on the “Lauren Kristy” based at the Bay Shore Marina, located at the foot of Clinton Avenue in Bay Shore from 12noon to 3:00PM. The cost to attend all events will be $155.00 per person. Cost to attend individual events will be:


1. Cost per person for pizza ice breaker $27.00


2. Cost per person for banquet $95.00


3. Cost per person for paddle wheel cruise and luncheon $39.00.

To Our Health!

My cousin Grace, sent this video to me; she is thoroughly involved into health foods.

I generally post "positive articles" on this Blog. After watching this video it occurred to me that there is nothing more positive and desirable than our health!

In recent years I have become more aware of foods and drugs that can be devastating to our health; I have in the past shared my findings with you. Here we go! Yet another health related video, thanks to my cousin Grace, and of course Dr. Terry Wahls.
