He Played Great Music Then; and Great Music Now

As you may know our fellow Alumni John Cassese is still into music! I viewed this Web Page for the first time, and had a great time jiving around my office, to the music and vocal from John's Web Site.

John together with Jamie, another excellent vocalist, comprise the group called TwiLite. Have some fun and dance in your living Room. Just click the song "Just a Gigolo," and enjoy!

News From Way Back Home on Long Island

Party People Congregate at Cupsogue Beach in Westhampton

Long Island people still have a lot of heart! The young, the old, and even the disabled, gather at Cupsogue Beach to just enjoy the Summer Afternoon.

A local business owner, who runs a bar, called the Beach Hut, sponsors and hires Bands to play on the deck outside of his establishment. This Sunday there were over 200 party animals of all ages, having a great time in the Sun.

I really admire people that have a positive attitude! I actually saw a gentleman at this gathering with an Oxygen Mask in one hand, and a Pena Colata in the other! People, young and old, swaying back and forth as the Band plays a Jimmy Buffet tune, "Margareetaville!" Once a band plays that tune they could do no wrong!

I later went to the Extreme east end of Dune Road, to have dinner at Sunwaters. Taking note of the action along the entire length of Dune Road; it looks like the Beach Hut, at Cupsogue Beach takes the prize!

You don't "have to" live in Florida, to have a great time. Always remember where the "Original Party Animals," came from, New York!

Not Bad for a bunch of "Damned Yankees!" Ha! Ha!

The Cupsogue Beach pictures sure bring back some great memories. In the late nineties, my husband and I sold our home in Shoreham and moved to a condo in Farmingville where the Ski Bowl used to be. At that time, we realized that we would soon be leaving the beautiful Long Island Beaches for Florida so we started to go to the beach regularly and this beach was the one where we used to enjoy the band and the Wednesday evening lobster special. Now we are summering in the Poconos and enjoying the beautiful mountain air up here. It would be great to get to that Cupsogue Beach some time again this summer. Take advantage of those Long Island beaches. They are the best in the world!

Pauline Millevolte Peele Reconnects with Sachem Alumni Group

Hi Ben,

Camille finally gave me the Sachem blog. Very interesting, funny, and brought back alot of happy memories. I should look in some of my old albums,and will probably find some good pictures. I have Brenda's e-mail and will e-mail her after this. Are we having a reunion in Disney in Florida this fall? I live in Port St. Lucie, Florida about 2 hrs. from Disney, and would definately be interested in going. I retired here from East Hampton, Long Island - sold my house when the market was good (it enabled me to retire, my late husband and I built our house for only $24,000.00. The only thing I had to pay alot of capital gains) I'm in touch with Carol Fields and Geroge Tambini. Spoke to Tina Hansen this spring. Marilyn Lindenfelser passed away about 10 years ago?. All for now, keep up the good work. PS. I'm coming up to East Hampton to visit my son in Sag Harbor, and will see Camille again. Let me know where Camille and I can hear John's band. Would love to> see him and hear his band.

Lorraine Mueller and Ben Vitale at the Prom

Who is this "Guy?" "Man" it looks like me! But this Ben is too skinny! Ha! Ha! And then we have Lorraine Mueller, Probably one of the most congenial females on the planet!

This is obviously a Prom, but I do not recall if it was my Prom, or Lorraine's Prom? As you know men are "hunters," and are not inclined to remember details, such as these! Hummmm? Isn't that a great excuse!

To be honest, I do not have a clue as to where this Prom took place!

Lorraine just seemed to vanish, from our Radar Screen. Does anyone have any information as to Lorraine's whereabouts?
