Missing Persons:
Hi
I'm wondering if you could post a "Missing Persons" on the Blog to see if anyone knows the whereabouts / what happened to George Still (and brother), Elizabeth(Beth) Hansen and Virginia Williams, all Class of 1960.
Thanks, Jerry Schmitt
*
Pat Prince Rath:
Last I knew, Virginia Williams lives in Vermont and Tina Hansen still lives in Lake Ronkonkoma and works for the school district. I have no clue where George Still is, nor his brother.

* Marion Stewart Eskijian: Tim still is in Port Jefferson at 346 East Broadway. Ted Still is deceased.
* Joan Lalla Gerson: I am sorry to say that George Still passed away some time ago.
Joan Lalla Gerson
* John Cassese: also mentioned that he thought George had passed away.
* Jerry S: Anything on Elizabeth (Beth) Hansen? She is not related to Tina Hansen.

Angie Cannata Cocozza "60. * Hi,
Got your list and I thank you. I wanted to tell you I keep in contact with Barbara Distler Ripino, class of 61. She lives in Orlando and we talk sometimes. She would be interested in the Sachem Gazette. I will get her email address from her next time we talk on the old fashion telephone! Thanks again, Angie Cannata Cocozza "60.
* Annette Colmer Doyle Profile:
Hi, I'm Annette Colmer Doyle. I don't know how many people will remember me, but I came to Sachem in my senior year from Port Jefferson - I loved Sachem - so much that I worked there for 32 years after graduation, with only 5 years off for maternity and child raising - (it actually took longer than that to raise them!) My husband, Tommy, and I have been married for twenty years. We have a combination of 5 children - my 2 girls and his 2 daughters & 1 son. My one daughter lives here in Florida and the other in Germany - His kids all live in NY - We retired to FL over 10 years ago. Somehow, though, we opened an accordion (yes, I did say accordion) repair and sales shop several years ago, and we are so busy, we can't believe it. We also still have a band on the road - though we don't travel around the country any more - just Florida - Anyway, it's good to hear from you all - it was Richard Williams who found me (and my brothers, too). Looking forward to seeing everyone again!

Bob Kemmler: Hi, I just remembered another name from Sachem and I was wondering if anyone knew what happened to this young lady. I believe she transferred in from Pt. Jeff in 59. Her name was Sigrund Wagge, I'm probably mis-spelling her name, but I was just wondering if anyone else remembered her or knew what happened to her, thanks Bob Kemmler.
*
Brenda C. Sichenzia: The last time I saw Sigrid Wagner, she was married with two children and lives on the Upper West Side in Manhattan. It has been over 20 years since I last saw her.

Bill Monteverde:
Dear Classmates,
I believe that all of us are contemplating a Long Island reunion but this is not likely to happen? At twelve months out we do not have a "Leader, Owner" to direct, manage and execute our 50th reunion.
We should all ear mark September 1, 2009 as the final date for a L.I. located reunion.
After this date, my hope is that a "Leader" will emerge from another State?
Sincerely,
Bill Monteverde

Pat (Prince) Rath:
Hi Everyone,
Ben, I got your mailing list. Another great job, thanks!
I agree with Billy Monteverde's comments. As an organizer for a past reunion, I know only too well that it is a lot of work. However, if someone doesn't step up and agree to be the "Leader" , nothing will be generated. I would think, that with all the enthusiasm we are seeing and hearing, many of us would agree to help out in various ways. Many of us from out of town who still work would need a date to plan a vacation around the reunion. I for one wouldn't want to spend a lot of money traveling for a one night dinner/dance and would want to spend more time in the area visiting or attending more than just one function. We found at the Florida, Arizona and Cruise reunions that the weekend gatherings where shorter than we would have liked, but it sure made for a great time when some of us were able to visit the Grand Canyon together and spend a lot more time just being together on the beach or at a bar-b-que sharing our stories of the past 50 years. I would be more than happy to work with anyone who would step up to be the Leader.

How to view the Sachem High School Alumni Gazette
Here is a simple way to see the entire Blog: Consider the blog as a Book with 37 Chapters.
You are currently at the first chapter of our book. Read this chapter, and then go back to the top of this Chapter.
In the right hand column of our Blog you will see a Title that says "BLOG ARCHIVE." The first date below the title that says "BLOG ARCHIVE," will be the date FEBRUARY 2006; left click that date, and you will be reading a new and different chapter.
When you are finished reading the FEBRUARY 2006 Chapter, Left Click the March 2006 Chapter, and read that chapter.... and so on.
ALTERNATE METHOD: At the very bottom of the first page that is displayed, you will see a phrase that says "Older Posts." Left click the word "Older Posts," and a new page with more Photos and videos will appear. You can do this Forty times!
When you see a photo that has a small arrow on it; click the arrow to start the video!
The Blog is huge and will take a few nights to view all of the information.
