???? Who is this Young Lady?

Marie Balonzi

Grace Tantillo

My guess would be Barbara Millevolte, but I could be wrong. It looks like all four of them are holding on to keep themselves from sliding down the embankment.
Keep up the good work. Mike Mahoney

If your reunion falls on June 16, I will be working June 17 from 2 PM to 6 PM unfortunately that excludes me from helping with the Fire Island leg of the Reunion, if it is held on Sunday. I must call and make sure that that job is still there; it has been in my book for a year! My concern is not for me but for our classmates that may have trouble dealing with the Davis Park Ferry, parking fiasco!
I will not be coming to the Sachem 2007 Reunion. I hope you all have a wonderful time. Lots of luck, Joe

How about a tour of the High School - which is now a junior high?
I think it would be great if someone would host a reunion on Long Island concurrent with John's band reunion. Many of us who live in the south were looking to go up north for a reunion in order to see people we haven't seen at the last few get-together. Priscilla may be still working on it, but it would then be in Florida again. My husband and I will probably be in the Poconos for the summer and would love to come to L. I . for a reunion.

Lloyd Roberts 2007
Tentative Plans are Being Made to host Lloyd Roberts Quintet Reunion 2007, in the month of June 2007, possibly the last weekend. The location would be the same as last year, in Farmingville, Long Island, NY; at the Flaming Hearth.
You will be notified as soon as the actual date is set!
Wouldn't it be great if a few of our fellow Alumni would attend!
Camille Pelliccia said that she would attend, and I will be attending. John Casesse the organizer of this event, will be there performing with the Band.
You must check-out the review, and comments, from LRQ Reunion 2006. Just click the link below this line!

Hi Ben. Are there any motels near the event? We are travelling from Pennsylvania.
Ben Vitale Said:
Brenda
I'm glad that you will be attending the event. John's "Lloyd Roberts Quintet Reunion 2007," only lasts for four hours! It would be great if a Class Reunion could take place concurrent with John's event! I think that there is still hope for the "Sachem Class Reunion," to be held on Long Island! I think Priscilla is still working on the reunion!
A yahoo search for "Motel, Farmingville, NY, 11738, gave the following page. I observed that the 112 Motel is "Unrated." I wonder why it isn't rated? I would bet the Hampton Inn, in Farmingville is not that expensive!
I hope this link works, when I send it to you!

You could email John, he might have more current information about his event!

Right now I am in California visiting my son and avidly following what is going on with our alumni so I can make plans for the summer/fall. I definitely will be at the band reunion. I remember going to the Flaming Hearth when we lived in the area. I can't say I could volunteer to help organize a reunion but may be able to make myself available if others needed help.
Thanks for the blog. It helps us all to reconnect and feel like teenagers again for a few minutes.

I DON'T REMEMBER ANY OF THOSE THREE PRETTY GIRLS. MUST REALLY BE GETTING OLD.
Love your blog spot and all the old memories it brings back. I have a photo of the class of '61 at the Bavarian Inn reunion but I'm not sure how to get it to you since I don't have a scanner.
I also have pictures taken a couple of years ago on the Princess cruise reunion as well as a luncheon that I organized the following January. There were about 13 of us from class of '61 at the luncheon.
The picture of the 5th grade class at Holbrook Elementary School contained one of the guys at the luncheon, Steve Steidel. Mitchell Strumpf was also a good friend of mine in high school and we were both voted "most musical" in our yearbook. I believe Mitch is still in Malowi, Africa where he had done some work in the peace corp.
I'd love to see more of the class of '61 come out of the woodwork. Thanks for keeping the home fires burning.

Thanks for sending me the Sachem information, I never had school spirit even when I served on the Sachem Board of Education. Looking at all the classmates photos makes me feel, maybe they weren't such bad times.
