Ben Vitale, Class of 1959 is Still Enjoying life!

I worked for Brookhaven National Laboratory from 1960 to 1970. For the next 36 years I have been and still am employed by The Geoscioences Department, at Stony Brook University, in New York. I work on Electronic Equipment such as Mass Spectrometers, and high temperature and pressure equipment; I also design and program, Computer Control Systems!

Class of 59. Ben Vitale has three grown-up children. He enjoys playing Polka with his Grandchildren.
Actually at this stage in my life my children and grandchildren are everything! If I had known that Grandchildren were so "great;" I wouldn't have had any children at all! Ha Ha!
Soon after all of my children have moved out of my house, I discovered that I magically had "a lot more money." With the funds from this de-facto pay raise, My wife and I travel as much as we can.
I no longer play with my Band, but I am still working as a DJ; Complete with a Light Show! I have "lots of fun," entertaining. Many of you may not realize that I am actually a "transplant," from Port Jefferson High School! I only attended Sachem in my senior year. My DJ business has allowed me to entertain my fellow Alumni from PJHS; I have played three Reunions so far, and plan on again doing another reunion in 2007. "Again" " a blast from the past." This Blog represents my "Sachem blast from the past."
I also gets along with animals "very well!" WOW! Double Left Click on the photo of the Bear! I met this Bear on main Street, in Anchorage Alaska; he seemed friendly enough. Please don't try this yourself; my Bear was a Harvard Graduate; and he also talked! Ha Ha!!!!!

I enjoy taking photos. The second photo was taken in Las Vegas, at the base of the Paris Casino Tower! I entered it in a photo contest and it did not win a ribbon! I still think it is a great photo, and display an enlargement in my office!

I can be contacted using "Netmeeting" at 129.49.95.192

Send an Email first so that I can turn on the computer.

Patty Lives in Florida!

Pat Perkins attended Port Jefferson High School, before coming to Sachem. From Cruises to "Space Camp," Patty is still "out there," having a great time! The age is not as important as the "spirit." As you can see, it's still there!

What Else Were Alumni Doing? Entertaining! Judy Erickson, Arlene Erickson, John Cassese, Ben Vitale, Charlie Lee, and Non-alumni Lee Adrian.

This comes as a big surprise to me! At the time of the show, we did not have a clue, as to who Lee Adrian was! If you read the article about the show, Lee Adrian, from the University of Rochester, also appeared with us, and was about to release a record. Through my research, I was surprised to discover that we actually played in a show with a "Genuine Celebrity!" The record label is different, but the year, artist, and group name, are correct!
