Bayard Cutting Arboretum Site of our 50Th Sachem High School Reunion.

For those Sachem alumni that still live here on Long Island: A Sunday afternoon stroll, through the grounds of the BCA can be very relaxing. Marie and I go to the Arboretum at least once a month, the year round.

After a stroll through the BCA, we always go to the Cafe to have lunch or Coffee and cake. This makes our afternoon complete. The cafe is located in the main building. Call to check the current schedule. I generally try to arrive at the cafe before 1:30.

Fellow classmates: after the "Reunion of all Reunions," I can still feel the energy at the Arboretum!

The Bluebird Inn had the best "Shuffle Board Table" for miles around.

Mike Mahoney Said:
I think Kay-Eds (formerly Murtha's) and Maloney's (later McGinnesses) had good tables also!!!

From George LaCorte:

I am not sure who would omit to knowing what street ran along side of the R.R. Tracks in Lake Ronkonkoma, and of course no one ever "Dragged Raced" down that street. The reason being was that there were hardly any cross streets, But what do I know?

Come on, there were a few of you that knew this! "I bet the Suffolk Saints knew it."
