Cassese Family Entertain in the Hamptons:

Our classmate John Cassese has been entertaining at the Casa Basso, in Westhampton, for the summer 2009 season. The Casa Basso has been serving the Hamptons since the Thirties.

Last Saturday my wife and I decided to visit John at the Casa Basso. We were seated near the Bar area only to discover that entertainment greats such as Burt Lancaster, and Howard Cosell, may have been seated at the very table that we occupied.

It seems like this establishment has a powerful affinity for great entertainment. I could actually feel the magnetism. John’s son Philip later joined his father for an impromptu performance. Philip and John sang a song together for the Hamptons crowd. I could actually feel the energy, and so could the audience! It was a great performance!

I have seen Philip Cassese entertain in the past, but time has cultivated and nurtured his stage presence. For John and his family, entertainment is indeed a family affair.
