On April 27, 2013, Marie and I celebrated our 50Th Wedding Anniversary, at “The Beach Club Estates,” in Lake Ronkonkoma, NY. We had 90 guests at our affair.

The weather was beautiful; and we had the cocktail hour on the patio, overlooking Lake Ronkonkoma. The Fountain and beautiful flowers served to enhance an already beautiful experience. A few of my guests said that they were impressed; “the Hors D’Oeuvres just kept coming.” The caterer was very generous with the Hors D’Oeuvres.

My wife and I wanted 50s, 60s, and 70s, music so we hired Tommy Sullivan, who is an original member of “Johnny Maestro, and the Brooklyn Bridge.” My guests loved Tommy’s music! The “Brooklyn Bridge” style, enchanted the guests at my Anniversary Party.  Four hours of dancing and smiles; what more could one ask for!

Marie and I come from the Catering and Entertainment Industries. We could very well be a catering hall’s worst nightmare, because we are very familiar with the music and catering industries, and have very specific expectations.  We know what constitutes a great party, and we would not leave any detail to chance; all details were addressed in advance!  Nightmare… yes…. We are more demanding than “Alex Ehente, the Coffee Bean inspector!” LOL

In a rating system of One to Ten, I would rate the staff and management of “The Beach Club Estates,” as a Fifteen; yes the service was beyond my expectations.
The Banquet Manager, the Matradee, and even the owner were constantly interacting with staff members, to make sure that our party ran smoothly. The food was outstanding! The service was outstanding! The entertainment was beyond fantastic!

The guests felt like they were on vacation on a cruise ship. They looked out of the windows at the “Beach Club Estates,” and had a beautiful view of Lake Ronkonkoma. “Yep! It did give me the impression of a cruise ship vacation!”

Our Anniversary Party was expedited with “Military Precision.” Professionally speaking; our Anniversary Party could have very well been, one of the best parties of the Century

50 years! OMG! LOL

Congratulations, Ben and Marie! I wish you all the best for the next 50 years. Your party must have been wonderful. It makes me think because this is our 49th year. Many of our old friends are still on Long Island but we are finally making some long term friends after eleven years here in Florida.
