From Deanna Giardina Mauch:
I remember you, Mike Mahoney. I remember that you lived near my sister Joan and me and I remember you have a brother Pat. Also, I agree with you that where your heart calls home is the place you should be, no matter where in the world geographically.

From Mike Mahoney:
I'm probably the only one from the class of '59 who still lives here, stays year round, and shovels his own driveway every time it snows (17 times last year), but it's GREAT to hear from the guys that are enjoying the milder weather. Thanks for the photos and for staying in touch. I do not think that it matters so much where you wind up, but it is important to enjoy every day where you are, and that's what I'm doing in Montauk and it's such a magical place that it has kept me from going to the warmer climates. I spent 45 minutes tonight trying to get the deer out of my fenced back yard. Maybe it's time to buy a boat and sail south. If I do, we will run together again....a lot slower!!!

From Ben Vitale:
I'm going to defect to Florida and watch the Palm trees change color! I'm not a big fan of cold weather!

From George LaCorte:
I was taken back by some of the emails I received about "Up North" and did not mean to start a turf war on our Location's that we now call Home.

Thank you Judi for telling me where this picture was taken. It was very Colorful and nice to look at. Missing out on wonders like this all over our USA.

Sorry it rub a few the wrong way, Just getting over it now so I'll not tell you about the box of chocolates "Forrest" gave me.

From Mary Hynes:
To each his (or her) own. I wouldn't trade the fall colours for anything. And with the changing environment, we'll probably have more weekends like the Thanksgiving weekend we had last week. I was out in shorts. Enjoy the seasons you've chosen to live with as I am enjoying mine. From Barbara Deppe Schwinn:

Hi I enjoyed the pictures, living in Pennsylvania I drive daily through this scenery, it is so beautiful. I just got back from Hawaii and am enclosing pictures of my Hawaiian vacation. this is me 52 years later. Next year I am going with a friend for a 17 day adventure to Alaska.

God Bless

From Dianna Giardina Mauch:
Here in Florida, we see wonderful signs of fall: Shadows get longer, we have the vibrant coral blooming rain trees and temperatures are a moderate 75-80 degrees with low humidity. We also have many pumpkin and harvest festivals and Oktoberfest celebrations. Life is good in the South!

From Judi Lloyd:

Sorry to break the illusion of fall in the northeast, but this is a picture of the Lin Cove Viaduct that skirts around Grandfather Mountain in Linville, NC (Linville is south of Boone in the western part of the state).

From George LaCorte:
Your weather has cooled down a bit and hopefully will stay this way for awhile.

I found this picture while wondering around on the net.
I am guessing that this is what Fall is going to start to look like soon up North? I have been in Florida since 1979 and I have to look at pictures of these beautiful scenes that you maybe enjoying.
But at least I will not be raking all those falling wet and heavy piles of leafs.
